River River Writers’ Circle is a nonprofit, local arts and community organization in the beating heart of the Hudson Valley. Visit us on Meetup to see what we’re up to… we work with the Carson McCullers Center and the Manhattanville College MFA program, among others, to raise literary spirits in our corner of the globe. We also publish beautiful things in River River Journal, an international online magazine. Donna is a founding member of River River Writers’ Circle and a founding editor of River River Journal.

Cuppa Pulp Writers’ Space/CILK119 is a co-working space in Nanuet. We provide daily and monthly hot desk space for freelancers, telecommuters, and microbusiness entrepreneurs. We also host all kinds of events. Donna is a founding member.

The Third-person Bio

Donna Lee Miele lives and works in New York’s Hudson Valley among writers and artists who disguise themselves as villagers absorbed by the quotidian. She is pleased to have received a Pushcart nomination, an honorable mention in the Glimmer Train Family Matters contest, and a spot among the finalists for the 2016 Salamander Fiction Prize; and she recommends that you visit MendaCity Review, Atticus Review, and Red Fez, the excellent publications that have embraced her adverb-laced and earnest stories. Her reviews have appeared in Rain Taxi Review, Bookslut, Atticus Review, and elsewhere.
